Letters of Recommendation

Teacher and Counselor Recommendations

DCC uses the D20 College & Career Navigator to send all letters of recommendation. If you are utilizing The Common Application, you do not need to complete the Letter Of Recommendation section within the Common Application.

If you are using Coalition Application, Apply Texas, or need a counselor Letter Of Recommendation, please see us in the College & Career Office.

1. Complete the DCC Letter of Recommendation Counselor/Administrator Brag Sheet.

2. Ask your teacher in person if they would be willing to write you a letter of recommendation.

3. Provide your teacher with the DCC Letter of Recommendation Student Brag Sheet.

4. Add your teacher letter of recommendation request in D20 College & Career Navigator.

5. Allow 2-3 weeks for your recommender to write their letter of recommendation and upload it to D20 College & Career Navigator.

6. Contact the DCCHS College & Career office if you have any questions.
