Courses 

  1. Honors Computer Science Essentials: This course is designed to introduce the fundamentals of computer science to students with little to no coding/programming experience. Students will use visual, block-based programming and then transition to text-based programming with languages such as Python to create apps and develop websites. 

  1. AP Computer Science: Students expand their coding knowledge through the Java programming language. Students do hands-on work to design, write, and test computer programs that solve problems or accomplish tasks. 

  1. Cybersecurity: This class uses a Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum to guide students to better understand how to create solutions that allow people to share computing resources while protecting privacy.
