IB Scholars are recognized by Discovery Canyon Campus and complete two IB upper level courses at either the Standard or Higher Level (SL or HL).

Many students who score well on individual course exams are awarded advanced standing and/or college credit at colleges and universities around the world. Taking an IB year end examination is a strong predictor of success in post-secondary education. Financial support is available for those who qualify. For more information on college credit in Colorado and the Diploma Program visit the Colorado Department of Higher Education. For University admission information Worldwide, please see the University Policy Index.

If you have questions or would like to register for an upper level IB course, please email Melissa Knight or call (719) 234-2897. Additional information is available on our Academics page. All IB courses are weighted, and IB course descriptions are listed under the appropriate subject in the Course Guide.
