What is Clifton Strengths for Students?
Clifton Strengths for Students is an educational program that uses Gallup's world-renowned Clifton Strengths assessment to measure 34 research-validated talent themes. It then guides the development of those talents into strengths with resources tailored for students.
Why Clifton Strengths for Students?
When students start from a place of Strength, they build confidence in themselves and their abilities. They see how they can use their unique talents to persevere and contribute to the global community in which they live. This perspective also encourages consideration of others and their unique strengths, further developing the open-minded characteristic of an IB World student.
How does Clifton Strengths for Students work?
Clifton Strengths for Students starts with our leadership groups: Sources of Strength, Theory of Knowledge, and PPS. Students take the inventory and utilize its knowledge when working with their team. This information is also used in the classroom to better support students in their learning. We utilize Strengths to help support students in developing their plan for after high school.
