Problem Solving
Our academics focus around solving real life style problems. There are not any books or single "right answers." Students have the opportunity to have hands on access to biomedical equipment that is currently in use in the profession today, and to solve real world problems facing health care professionals today.
Students gain real, transportable knowledge such as laboratory skills, clinical skills, equipment and software proficiencies, and scientific experimentation skills. Additionally, all aspects of the IB learner profile show in this program. With health care, every single aspect is addressed explicitly on multiple occasions.
Part of a Broader Community
Our program has a real community. Community members come into class and present, and our students go out into the community to see the profession in action. We see people we know, truly members of our local community.
