Bumps and Bruises Clinic

Bumps and Bruises Clinic is a service provided to D20 high school athletes by Colorado Springs Orthopedic Group. This service is a free, initial evaluation and x-rays, if deemed appropriate by the attending provider. Any follow up care or additional treatment (e.g. casting, surgery, injections, MRI, CT scan, etc) is NOT considered Bumps and Bruises, and you or your medical insurance will be billed.

All "bumps & bruises" visits will be coordinated by the school’s respective athletic trainer or athletic director. If the ATC determines an athlete needs to be seen by the Bumps and Bruises provider to assess the extent of an injury, the ATC will contact the athlete’s parents. Parents then must give the ATC verbal consent to schedule the appointment for the athlete.
